The Food
The ayurvedic menu consists of vegetarian dishes which are considered to be highly digestible and when served in certain combinations very 'curative' and theraputic. There will be no white bread, pasta or any preserved or refined or non fresh food used. The dishes are of indian origin and therefore spicy but not overly, the dishes include; risotto with lentils and mung beans, a 'kaddy' which is vegetables done with chick pea flour, lemon soup, dishes with coconut puree, chutneys and fresh fruit and sweets. We should stay off the wine of course to have a total cleanse but the wine at Marsiliana is so GOOD..............we can be forgiven maybe a couple of glasses?
